4 High Protein Fruit Smoothie Recipes You Need to Try | A Sweet Pea Chef

Hey there, Lacey here with A Sweet Pea Chef,
and one of the best things about fruit smoothies is how many flavor combinations you can have,
plus they’re a great way to add a nutritional boost to your diet, like you can add in extra
fiber, vitamins, antioxidants, and protein. So today, I’ve partnered with Bob’s Red Mill
to bring you four delicious high protein fruit smoothies that make a great snack, breakfast,
or meal. So let’s get started. I like using Bob’s Red Mill’s vanilla protein
powder because it gives an extra boost of protein and fiber, thanks to the pea protein
and chia seeds. First, we’re gonna make a blackberry coconut
fruit smoothie. So in a kitchen blender, start by adding the
unsweetened coconut milk, fresh or frozen blackberries, half a banana, unsweetened coconut
flakes, and two scoops of Bob’s Red Mill’s vanilla protein powder. Now, blend everything together until it’s
very smooth. This fruit smoothie is high in vitamin C,
folate, fiber, and protein. Next, we’re gonna make a tropical chia fruit
smoothie. So in a kitchen blender, start by adding the
unsweetened almond milk, fresh or frozen mango, fresh or frozen pineapple chunks, and two
scoops of Bob’s Red Mill’s vanilla protein powder. Now blend everything together until it’s very
smooth. This smoothie is high in antioxidants, fiber,
and protein. Next, we’re gonna make a strawberry banana
fruit smoothie. So in a kitchen blender, start by adding the
unsweetened almond milk, fresh or frozen strawberries, a banana, plain Greek yogurt, and two scoops
of Bob’s Red Mill’s vanilla protein powder. Blend everything together until it’s nice
and smooth. This fruit smoothie is high in vitamin C,
folate, fiber, and protein. Finally, we’re gonna make what I call the
best green smoothie. So in a kitchen blender, start by adding the
unsweetened almond milk, baby spinach, half a banana, half a pear, almond butter, and
two scoops of Bob’s Red Mill’s vanilla protein powder. Blend everything until it’s very smooth. Aside from being yummy and filling, this green
smoothie is also high in zinc, fiber, calcium, and protein. For any of these fruit smoothies, you can
add a little bit of raw honey to up the sweetness if you’d like and you can also add in some
ice if you’re using fresh fruit, which would make the smoothie a little thicker. I hope you enjoy these four new high protein
fruit smoothies that are great for your taste buds and your body. Thanks so much to Bob’s Red Mill for sponsoring
these recipes. Make sure to pick up their vanilla protein
powder with nutritional booster to make these four smoothies today. And thanks so much, I’ll see you next time.
