8 Minute Stretching Routine For Women! (Emotional Release)

this is the workout that every woman
needs to do and the reason for that is most of us if not all of us are storing
all of our pain and our past hurt inside of our body and when all of that stuff
is stored inside of our body and we’re not getting rid of it and we’re not
releasing it that’s when our bodies become sick and sore and we become
irritable and tired and cranky so this workout here is going to help
you release all of that anger all of that past hurt anything that you can’t
let go off that’s sort in your body we’re going to let go of it today and
every time you do release work like this you’re letting go of all that stuff it’s
not serving you the only thing that happens when you hold on to all of that
pain is you get sick nothing happens to the rest of the world it all happens to
you so let’s get rid of all of that and let’s get started I’m so excited for you
to do this workout because you’re going to start feeling or relief and the
reason is our bodies are a mirror of our inner thoughts and beliefs and every
single cell in your body responds to every thought that we think so it’s no
wonder that we find ourselves experiencing pain and disappears this
workout is designed to help you release some of those trapped emotions take your arms out wide and start
pushing back we’re literally pushing away the past and all of the negativity
and pain that we’ve experienced keep your arms really strong and push it away
we don’t need that anymore we’re going to start stretching the
adductor working on the inner thigh the groin area and opening the hips and this
is where all of our unresolved emotions are stored from our early childhood and
our upbringing if you experience a lot of stiffness
here it could be that you’re holding on to a lot of pain and suffering from your
childhood so opening up the hip flexors like this is so beneficial to releasing
and letting go of those old emotions change legs if our hips are stiff and
blocked we have trouble moving forward in life and this is really common in
menopausal women we can feel like that when not enough and that nobody needs us
anymore so these stretches are so important
we’ve got to get rid of that and release it stand in the squat position knees out
hold your abs in tight and just start punching strong arms we’re literally
punching away all the things that don’t serve us anymore
you sure intend to get out of your body whatever it is you’re hanging on to
punch it and let it go stand straight bend your knees keep your
back straight and bend over and you can feel this in your hamstrings up and down
we’re stretching our hamstrings on the way down and we’re strengthening our
hamstrings as we come up and as we’re aligning our hips we’re helping to
release some of those stored emotions this is so beneficial at our age take your left leg and put it over your
right and take your right arm and put it over your left twist your body and
breathe in and as you exhale try and move your body a little bit more this
exercise is going to stimulate the liver and the kidneys as well as energize the
spine change legs the emotions that are stored in our spine and our back
originate from relationships and money and just by doing this twist with
intention you’re helping unravel and unwind some of that pains put your right knee between your hands
slowly raise your back leg so that both legs are straight go up and down keep
your knees bent if that feels more comfortable for you we’re stretching our
hamstrings here again which holds our hips in position and it’s also giving us
a nice gentle stretch to our lower back while gently releasing some of that
stored Angus change legs you’re doing so well keep
going at your own pace on your hands and knees arms straight
exhale and curve your spine draw your bellybutton in and inhale as you slowly
move back down and bring the head up exhale inhale this exercise feels so
amazing you can feel it soothing the spine and moving the spine like this
helps us to release painful emotions surrounding relationships and money
here’s the thing when we young we learn how to feel just simply by watching the
reactions of the adults around us and that’s the way we learn to think about
life so ask yourself every single day does what I feel right now relate to me
or does it relate to somebody else we’re finished that went so quickly

    As a trainer as well as massage therapist, I completely agree with us holding emotions in our muscles and bodies.

  4. Thank you! I really need to commit to doing stretch work. Do you recommend a particular thickness of a mat to do stretches on the floor?

    IMO, Everyone should visit a REHAB wing in an assisted living facility to see what a huge difference exercising over 50 and on up is for all of us to remain strong, be able to continue to walk and move in general-itโ€™s very eye-opening and a shock really to see it and then understand this. ๐Ÿ’

I needed that stretch but more so your encouraging words. I'm turning 45 in about a month and that has been doing a number on me all year long. I've been soooo scared of that milestone but women like you make me realize that age is just a number and that taking care of your emotional and physical well being are what truly matters.
