(cheerful music) – It was mainly the low back and shoulders that you’re having, so
tell me a little bit about the low back, just specific area. – The pain, right here, and
it’s like a stinging pain. – [Doctor] A stinging pain? – Yeah. – [Doctor] So it’s not local to your right or left it’s just, like– – In general yeah. – [Doctor] Does it ever start in the middle and then spread out? Oh it does. Okay so its not always like this? – No. – [Doctor] Sometimes it
just starts in the middle? – Yeah. – And it is an electric
stinging pain or it’s just– – [Patient] It’s like shocks. – Shocks okay. – [Patient] Yeah. – Like specific motions to it? Or just you can just be– – [Patient] It just happens, yeah. – Does sitting for a long time bother you? It does, so walking’s okay. Okay sitting for a long time. – [Patient] Yes. – And I’m guessing, is
it worse in the morning? Okay gotcha. How long have you had this for? – [Patient] I noticed it
happening fourth months ago. – Four months ago? Okay, how old are you again? – 16 – 16 and you’re having, okay. You should not be having
this kind of pain at 16. – [Patient] Yeah I just felt it randomly and then I complained a lot to my mom and that’s when we looked into it but I was thinking maybe cheerleading because I was the base so I would be constantly lifting people. I don’t know if that caused it but– – Well it probably didn’t help. – [Patient] Yeah, yeah. – Alright, and then the shoulders, so where do you feel
like, shoulder shoulder or like the track?
– Like right here. – Okay, and does it, like,
is it only local to here or does it go up your neck? – [Patient] It doesn’t go up my neck. – So it’s just right there? – [Patient] Yeah. – Okay. So she’s pretty hunched
forward and her head’s pretty forward there. When you have this here, do you feel more of it like over, so I know
you feel it on this side. – [Patient] Yes. – But do you ever feel, like,
in between your shoulders? – Yeah, like just where
you’re touching now. – Okay. We need to work on this upper region, we need to start encouraging a better posture and a better
curve for your daughter. Okay, you actually have
a lot of leverage on you. Yeah, that swings way off to the right. Right there, okay, that’s where we were pointing to before. Right there. Yeah, right there, okay. Can you actually point
to me, where you feel it. Like, if you feel it lower,
if you feel it higher. – [Patient] Right here. And it goes– – Like that? That’s exactly what I thought, okay. So I’m gonna poke above and below, so, can you feel that hurting? And now? – [Patient] Yeah. – Okay, so, here it does
but this is one is more? Okay, good. – [Patient] Yeah. – Yeah, this right there? This ones not as bad, T four. So if I push it out to the side. – Oh yeah. – Yeah, hurts right there. – Yeah. – A lot of the big marks that I found were obviously right
here, where you start to tilt off, towards the left here. That right there, that’s
obviously what you feel, when you’re in a lot of pain. And then, we do one, so
this one, right here, where you start to tilt off, right here, and you start going against the left side, so, everything that’s
tilting you towards the left is one of your bigger problems, okay. – Yep. – So, we need to focus on this over here and bring this back down but also, that top part, where I was
pushing on the left side, the top of your head,
its tilted up like this, so you can see how the lines
start to come out like that. – Yeah. – We’re gonna focus on that as well. Okay?
– Okay. – So I’m slowly push, okay? (laughing) – [Woman Behind Camera] Wow, cool. – Gets you nice and chilled. – That felt good. (laughing) – I’m glad it did, good, alright, so, just one of those, we’re gonna do just one more, but I want you
to walk around a little bit, okay?
– [Patient] Okay. – Alright, do okay? Alright, up for one more? – [Patient] Yeah.
– Alright. Alright, so, on your breathe out, I’m gonna give this a push
going forward and up, okay? Right, take a big breathe
in, all the way out, let your stomach drop, like that. Okay, good. – [Patient] Ugh. (laughing) – [Doctor] Some good
adjustments there, huh? – That felt good. – That’s good, alright so,
walk around a little bit more and then I just wanna, we’re
gonna double check some things, okay? Okay, so, just from the adjustments, you might not notice anything, I’m not expecting you
to have any huge changes but do you notice anything different as you’re walking, I don’t
know if this was hurting before readjusting you– – I just feel less tense. – Less tense? – Yeah. – What about the shoulder area. – Yeah, that feels a lot better already. – A lot better? – Yeah. – Okay, also, I’m gonna poke down here. Is it as tender as it was before? Good. Alright, nothing to be
too nervous about, right? – Yeah. (laughing) – Alright so, you guys are pretty much all done, at this point, so.
– [Patient] Thank you. – Good. – At this point, so,
its not gonna look like this every single time you come into the room, so, not every time we’re gonna adjust your neck,
– Yeah. – Not every time we’re
gonna adjust your lower back so it really depends on what
we’re finding for the day and what its telling us. We are still targeting specific areas but it depends on what we
find, every single day, yeah. ‘Cause you might find, next time, like, your lower back is actually clear with the scope.
– Yeah. – ‘Cause we actually got
pretty good adjustments for everything, today. – That’s the measuring tool, instrument you guys were operating? – Exactly, yeah so, every single time you guys come in, we’re
always gonna use that, we’re always gonna look at the x-rays. But it doesn’t mean we’re gonna adjust the same thing every single time. Any questions for me? – No. – Alright, well, you look excited, she looks excited for
the rest, she was nervous coming in and now she’s
like, “This is great.” well, do you have any questions for me? – Nope, I’m good.
– Alright. So you guys are all set. – Thank you. – Alright, no problem guys.

  1. interesting and effective. Do u take an x-ray every visit? What if a patient wants to avoid x-ray, are u willing to adjust without x-ray?

  3. I’m a cheerleader too and I’ve been experienced lots of Lower back pain then it eventually hits my left side. I numb it and tape it, any suggestions?
