  2. VERY SAD that she give a pass to "moderate" intake of SAD (Standard American Diet) comprising a variety of animal proteins, as she ignores (or is ignorant of) the work of Dr. Robert A. Vogel of the University of Maryland School of Medicine and damned near all of those on my "short list" of lifestyle and optimal diet gurus such as Doctors Campbell, Ornish, Barnard, Esselstyn, Greger and a host of others. Ignoring issues does not lessen their importance for fact-based truth-seekers. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

When showing "Foods to Limit" they should be foods to AVOID altogether, because they are scientifically engineered to defeat even the strongest of will power and very seldom can you stop at one cookie or one donut, all refined carbohydrates like these, lead to severe cravings that would not be there if those foods were not eaten in the first place. Fasting and eating nothing at all would be preferrable to eating anything pictured in your "Foods to Limit" picture. I am not even going to include them other that to say "Avoid these foods at all costs" "They are slow Kill foods" Wheat is weaponized, all corn and soy in the United States, unless specifically labeled as organic, is GMO and very hazardous to your health. That includes the fructose sweeteners and corn oil, canola oils, all of which are in those types of killer foods.

  4. Very informative! What most people dont understand is that most people not just cannot but DONT stick to diets like vegan or anything very restrictive for very long. Also, vegan diets seem to be loaded with processed "replacement" foods (Ice cream, fake dairy cheese etc) that is almost completely void of nutrition unless its fortified. If you have to fortify then why not just take a supplement. Also they tend to be very high carb… simple carbs and/or high fat

  6. How do you get the vital micro-nutrients from low quality food which we are eating on a every day bases ! She things we live in a ideal environment. Air we're breathing ,water we 're drinking and food that we are eating are saturated with poisons like substances ,and addition to it transport and storage .   12. Could you please update your knowledge? There is no benefit of alcohol and starchy bees for brain. Grass fed butter is number one food for brain. The reason of having Alzheimer and cognitive decline is low saturated diet. If you want a good and big brain take butter and coconut oil.

  17. Swimming a few lap's in a cold pool atleast four times a week, is the ultimate. There is zero need to heat a pool. The benefits are far better swimming in cold water. As for research? People just look at the blue Zones, your self. Susan

  18. Don't forget the reason why fruits are more filling than just juicing them is because of their fiber content. And eating a whole fruit instead of juicing it will release its glucose content slowly because of its fiber and that's what you want. Fruits and their meat fiber are low glycemic.

  20. No need to eat fish because fish have negative effects on cancer and heartdisease. Fish do not make their nutrients on themselves. They get them from plants. Therefore, eat the fats from plants directly so you leave the negative effects.

I am sure Albert Einstein did not eat GMO foods and farmed fish and meat fed on chemicals and hormones not to mention preservatives and other chemical additives in everything else and don't forget all vegetables and fruit is sprayed with insecticides which are carcinogens. I don’t think you do but it’s the reality. We need the animal saturated fat. Where would we get the B vitamins and the K2 ? Without it we would run into serious problems including in the brain!!!   23. Terrible speaker, and more important her facts were not correct. " Brain food really is real.", "Hourish of time", "during gestation", "we're gonna age!", "…during the great years of thinking" ? This presentation was awful. She re-used slides from other presenters, and had terrible examples.

  25. Her opinion is quite outdated on seafood. Mercury is a pollutant but there are many POPs in fish and now microplastics in the flesh of fish and seafood that are harmful. Farmed fish is even more toxic with farmed salmon being perhaps the most toxic food in the world. Algal based DHA and ground flax and chia have none of those issues.

  26. The diet suggestions are quite boring and emphasize adding oils to add flavor. Eat well cooked beans at every meal; if you get gas then increase by 1 tsp per week until you get to at least an cup a day. Great aid for blood sugar control.

    The advice in this talk is not helpful. Eating sugary, starchy foods makes you hungry, so you eat more and begin the vicious cycle that leads to obesity and Type 2 diabetes. No sugars, no processed foods, eat healthy fats that give you satiety and moderate protein no more than100g a day. Only eat when you are hungry and fast from dinner to breakfast.

  28. Alcohol taken daily is contraindicated for women due to our hormones. It's associated with cancer. Women shouldn't have more than a be glass of red wine per week.

  29. Vaccines are associated with Alzheimer's due to the high level of aluminum they contain. Look at the rates of Alzheimer's among populations that do not vaccinate.. there's next to none.

  30. What about coconut oil? It improves cognition in all but the more advanced cases of Alzheimer's and certainly should be used in a diet for brain health. Aronia berry has far more antioxidants than blueberries.

I have stabilized my blood glucose levels to normal ranges and no longer need blood pressure medicine on a high saturated fat, low carbohydrate, animal based diet that includes hard cheese, eggs, beef, poultry, fish and offal. I take some fermented vegetables such as sauerkraut and kimchi and also fermented milk in the form of kefir. I have removed fruit completely from my diet. I am 53 years old and feeling so much better than when on a vegan diet.

  32. gee I wonder how the animals get B12 in them…since animals don't make B12….why doesn't she point out B12 is made by bacteria?? So she is truly advocating getting b12 from an animal that has been supplemented with b12 so getting a secondhand supplement is "better" than just taking a supplement?! sure drinking pond water would be a natural source of b12 but not great for avoiding other bacterial infections! She Fails to point out the negatives of relying on animal foods for b12(concentrated heavy metal and pesticides, excessive protein intake, high caloric density, to name only a few) not to mention if the animals weren't supplemented with b12 or exposed to the bacteria then it's not a good source of b12 is it?! everyone should be tested and if deficient no matter what the diet take supplements if deficient…

  37. Barbara O'Neil is an excellent speaker and actually knows what she is talking about. Dr. John Bergman knows more about the human body in it's entirety than any of these conventional doctors. Medical Doctors know squat. They are taught to cover up symptoms, they are taught to prescribe drugs and they discourage the use of any of Gods medicine which is perfect and made for us. Herbs, spices, plants each has healing properties, each does something miraculous which none of the prescription poisons can do. Conventional doctors specialize in Parts of the body, not help you thrive as a whole. We are NOT pieces of Human, we are a Whole human and everything is connected. Brain diseases begin when our immune system suffers and becomes toxic.

    I applaud those who try to learn about healing through food, however they still recommend eating some bad stuff because they do NOT do enough research. You have to avoid GMO foods at any cost, they all contain organ damaging pesticides and mothers had glyphosate in their wombs while carrying their baby. Why do you there is an epidemic of small children having cancer or dying within the first year of birth? Do you know there are GMO ingredients and pesticides in baby formula? Some of them still don't know enough to tell you to stop buying canola and vegetable oil, or not to consume any form of corn, unless it's organic, because it had it's DNA completely warped by morons in lab coats, thinking they can do Better than God. OK Stepping off my pedestal. They just make me so mad blaming AGE on anything. God created us to regenerate for centuries, our bodies can heal if they have the right building blocks. You wouldn't put mayonnaise between bricks to build a house. Our cells are living libraries, we get information from the food we eat, bad information causes us to get ill. Period. Find people who know about the human body and not just repeat what they heard from people they agree with.

  38. B vitamins work synergistically, they support and help each other… it is stupid to recommend just one B-vitamin. Just as minerals, just as amio acids and enzymes, EFA's they need each other to work properly. Grrrr stop this misinformation and learn more before you feed people BS. Take complete Bcomplex. Take complete amino acids, complete minerals… We are severely deficient in all nutrients because the soil our food grows in, is deficient. GMO's ARE SAFE??? Do you even have a conscience? GMO's have their DNA altered by people who have no idea what they are doing. They are not God. They have no understanding of why God designed things -exactly the way he did. God made everything with a purpose… our cells get important information from the food we eat, by messing with the design, you are messing with our DNA, that is NOT safe. Why is it safe? Because some paid lacky came and told you it is? There is no study on how it will affect us, bad DNA is horrible for humans, you people have NO IDEA what you are messing with. Some things are NOT ours to tamper with, some things are GODs!
