Can Masturbation Affect Your Muscle Gains?

Can Masturbation Affect Your Muscle Gains?

Sigh… so this is what you guys want huh? A video… on masturbation. So now that I know what type of… hard topics
you guys are interested in, let’s ask the trickling question that you all came here
to ask. Does… masturbation affect your gains? If any of you have already ventured in the
great abyss we call the internet, you probably have an idea on how testosterone can be affected
with ejaculation. For those of you not familiar with testosterone,
testosterone is an androgenic hormone that plays a crucial role in the development of
the male characteristics in the body. The one characteristic that you need to know
in this video is testosterone’s role in building muscle. With high levels of testosterone, your body
is better able to build muscle through muscle protein synthesis after a… stimulating workout. Both men and women have testosterone, but
men have approximately 15 times more. The belief around the internet is that masturbation
and orgasm will cause your testosterone levels to deflate. So that obviously means your gains will be
softening, too. Well, let’s see if the studies back up this
hardened claim. Let’s first dig through the research about
the effects of short term abstinence. One study showed that subjects “holding
it in” for 7 days did in fact saw a significant increase in blood testosterone, but then trickled
back down to normal levels and sometimes lower than normal in the following days after. Another study showed that waiting 3 weeks
before taming your monster did cause a very slight uptick in testosterone compared to
not waiting at all. It seems that abstinence can in fact increase
testosterone. But what happens to your body when you finally
do masturbate and orgasm? The very clear change after masturbation is
the 20-minute boost in the hormone prolactin. This seems dto serve the purpose of suppressing
sexual desires following orgasm. When prolactin increases, the hormone causing
sexual arousal, dopamine, decreases. Also, heart rate stays elevated a few hours
after orgasm, and elevated even higher if the subjects worked out after orgasm versus
working out without orgasm. Even so, studies show that orgasm had no detrimental
nor improving effects in moderate to maximum exercise performance. And finally, the effects of orgasm on testosterone
levels were… non-existent. So it seems safe to say that masturbation
and orgasm isn’t going to affect your gains all that much. And even though abstinence did see some increase
in testosterone, the difference is not enough to justify holding back any sexual activity. In fact, the changes aren’t nearly as much
as other factors you should consider. One of which is the time of day. When you wake up, your testosterone levels
are at its highest. Towards the evening, it drops by as much as
75%. Studies even found a decrease in testosterone
levels if you lose in a competitive event. Lacking certain nutrients, like Zinc, also
causes a much more dramatic decline in serum testosterone. And of course, a huge factor is your actual
exercise. Almost all exercises increase testosterone
levels for a short amount of time, with resistance training have the greatest increase. As; b we can see, there’s so many other
things in play that worrying about timing your fap seem rather pointless. And these small, short-term changes are not
nearly as important as maintaining high testosterone levels in the long run. BUT with all this being said, you should still
limit yourself. If you’re the type that tugs away so often
that you don’t have time for the gym or if you’re the type that after you masturbate,
you no longer have motivation or feel that you’re “up” for going to the gym, then
yes, masturbation can damage your gains. Like anything else in life, moderation is
absolutely key. Now, for all you happy tuggers, hopefully
you now feel “relieved” with this news. Just know that your… gains are going to
be okay if you tug away. Just please wash your hands before you head
to the gym… If you enjoyed this video, please like and

  1. You're telling me all those cyclists needed to do to survive was masturbate intensely? Fuckin idiots, shouldve already been doin it from the start.

  2. ❤👍❤👍❤👍

  3. Primary function of our body is survival and procreation and not muscle building. Masturbating makes you lose the load and only to tell your body to make more. since, the body will focus more on making it rather than the muscle, you'll feel drained and well, no gains. Your whole days nutrition gone, with one beating session. I'd recommend doing it once a week tbh. It makes you sexually active while not snatching your gains.

  4. Such an ignorant video, the amount of scientific facts ignored in this video is ridiculous.
Do yourselves a favor, and stop listening to retards like this guy.
I ll throw one of the many facts ignored : a peak of testosterone happens after 7 days then comes back to normal. BUT, when you come back to normal, even if it's the same amount of testosterone in your blood, it is used 3-4 times more efficiently => more gains, more strength, better mood etc etc etc

Do your own research and know the rest, it's worth the time spent on it, and please !! stop listening to trash videos like these !!

  5. Ejaculation releases a lot of minerals and nutrients that your body needs, and it releases them cheaply. Releasing weakens the knees and your legs.

  6. Well I like to think that getting rid of extra testosterone is better. I think this because when you exercise( i may be wrong) but you burn through the testosterone before getting fatigued, so getting rid of it beforehand leads strait to the fat being burned.

  7. Cortisol levels are highest in the morning. Wouldn't that make it so testosterone would be arguably lowest in that time?

  8. Yes it makes your muscles and your eyesight weaker. Scientists and doctors have already figured it out. Have you?

  9. 1 like = 1 day of no fap
plz help me i needa reason at the least. i promise i will take those many days off

  10. Im not joking i literally masturbated and got this recommended…holy shit those recommandations getting out of hand

  11. Masterbation has a strong effect on muscle gain at least for me,i work out together with my friends they gained alot of muscle doing exactly the same kind of exercise like me.i don’t have no muscles because i masterbate and they don’t.

  12. hooffffff , i survived , so its okay to wank and working-out….it was going to make me dissapointed…i'll go Wank in front of everyone at Gym tomorrow :')

  13. Im not going to say you are wrong….just abstinence for a month and see the difference…specially in strength level

Masturbating 1 a week maybe don't effect much….but most of us do it daily and thats hurts your gains and strength too

  14. Could I rub it into my skin afterwards or should I be drinking or injecting my sperm back into my body? Because I have been doing that.

  15. All you're looking at is how it affects testosterone levels, that's not enough to form a conclusion. I've read that masturbation impairs the functionality of your bodies androgen receptors, which are what actually put the testosterone to use. There's no point saying "ayy your T levels are the same so fapping is fine" when fapping is possible stopping your body from actually using the T to build muscle.

  16. Please subscribe to my channel. I talk about masturbation. I'm trying to get to 1000 subscribers. It's hard to get subscribers because they're uncomfortable with the subject. I'm trying to get people to embrace it more to avoid a lot of drama.
