Easy Protein Pancakes Recipe (CHOCOLATE BANANA PANCAKES!!)


Today we’re going to be making protein powdered
chocolate banana pancakes. Okay, so today the prep time for the pancakes
is about five minutes. Super-fast. So what we’re going to do, is you’re going
to put four eggs. You’re going to use two whole eggs, and two
egg whites, which I’ve done here, two bananas. Just for space reasons today I’m using one. One scoop of protein powder. So you’re just going to put that in. Today we’re going to be making protein powdered
chocolate banana pancakes. Okay, so today the prep time for the pancakes
is about five minutes. Super-fast. So what we’re going to do, is you’re going to put
four eggs. You’re going to use two whole eggs, and two egg whites, which I’ve done here,
two bananas. Just for space reasons today I’m using one.
One scoop of protein powder. So you’re just going to put that in. We’re going to put in
½ cup of oats and ½ tsp of cinnamon. All right. So once you’ve got that in you can
either use a regular blender, however you want to blend everything. Just put the lid on, we’re just going to blend
this real quickly. You can get your pan heating up because you do want your pan to be a little
bit warmer. Actually, before that I’m going to add my pan spray before it gets too hot.
So we’ll let that continue to get warm. I’m just going to come over here and blend
this all together. Okay, just make sure the bananas are completely blended. You can totally
take a little shaker too and make sure. It looks like a few little lumps so we’ll just
blend again. All right. So it looks like we’ve got some good consiste4ncy
there. All right. So now I’m going to turn my pan up a little bit warmer. Make sure it’s
nice and hot. You want to get those bubbles going pretty quickly. Okay, so now I’m just
going to pour my mixture in the pan. Whatever size you want to make it. These are
probably going to be not super big pancakes. Okay, so we’re just going to let that cook
here for a second. What is great about these is, using this protein powder from ATHLEANX-RX
for Women, it’s super low in calories. What I love too is that it’s really low in
sugar. It really only has 5g of sugar. High in protein, like, 20g per scoop. So you’re
getting a nice boost in the morning with that protein intake. Okay, so my pancake is just
kind of starting to get that little bubbly. You really want to make sure you have the
bubbles gone. Everybody hopefully knows that with pancakes. So once we get that good bubble
action we’ll flip that over. And these, depending on- like I mentioned before – I only added
1 banana. So if you add another banana this could yield
up to, maybe, eight to ten pancakes. So it’s a pretty good serving size either for yourself,
or for your family. You can actually double the recipe if you need to. But we have a great
flavor. I can already smell the cinnamon and the chocolate.
So once we get this bubbling just a little bit more I’m going to turn my heat down. Make
sure – okay. I’m actually going to go for the flip. It’s kind of sticking a little bit.
So what’s nice is that it’s just a nice consistency. It’s not a super thick pancake that cooks
really fast. It’s actually probably done right now so I’m going to turn that off, just let
the backside cook for just a second. You can really smell that cinnamon in there, which
is really nice. Cinnamon is great for you because it actually
helps to stabilize your blood sugar. So it’s great in the mornings. All right, you guys.
There’s our pancake. Perfect little pancake. So once you use the rest – like I said,
you’re going to get about eight to ten. You can either top these with peanut butter.
Peanut butter and chocolate are a great combination. I personally love to put strawberries on the
top of mine instead of using syrup, or something really sugary. I just put a little bit of
strawberries, get my little stack done and I’m ready to go. A nice, low calorie, high protein breakfast
to get you going. This is great for before you work out, or I actually have this after
my workout sometimes because it’s so fast and easy to make. Especially if I don’t
