[JUN] What I eat in a day (1/3) – Protein Smoothie for dinner (ENG CC) | 我一天都吃什么(1/3)健康晚餐新选择,奶昔做法大公开


What’s up guys! I am Jun I am going to share what I eat in a day in three videos The reason is that before I came to Canada, I usually ate take out and didn’t go to gym which leads to nutritional imbalance and skinny fat body type After I came here, I started to work out and do meal prep on daily basis I paid more attention to calculate macro and meal prep according to my purpose-bulking or cutting I even made an Excel file to track macro and calorie to monitor whether they hit the target I set After one year, I can see some results Although I am not comparable to bodybuilders or someone who has worked out for several years, I am fitter now Without further ado, I’m gonna share smoothie recipe Ingredients were introduced in my first video, please go check it out! The base for this smoothie is unsweetened almond milk which is low in calorie Next one is greek yoghurt, which provides protein It contains 18g protein(per 175g) and 5g sugar Although it contains sugar but it is not added sugar Try you best to use greek yoghurt without added sugar Then, add one banana and one date Banana in smoothie, what else to say There are 29g carbs (per 40g) in dates, 27g sugar and 2g fibre An adult should consume added sugar less than 25g per day So, one date per day is too much? Nope, sugar in dates are natural sugar. If you eat sugar with whole food, that’s fine Natural sugar in food is less harmful than the one in bubble tea Sugar in bubble tea could instantly increase blood glucose which does harm to your body However, if you eat a date, you eat sugar with fibre, which would not increase blood glucose aggressively Sugar is sugar, even you eat it with fibre. Then add hemp seeds, which contain good fat and protein It contains 15g fat and 10g protein (per 30g) The fat in the seeds is gonna make smoothie taste good Then, add oats Oat is healthier than white rice and wheat There are lots of fibre and minerals in oats Then add frozen blueberries Why choose frozen ones? Because it’s sweeter than fresh ones Frozen fruits=ripest fruits=sweetest fruits Nutrition wise, frozen fruits=fresh fruits So I usually choose frozen blueberry, strawberry or mixed one At last, green leaves. An adult should consume at least 500g fresh vegetables per day, about 200g-250g of which should come from green vegetables. Is it good?
