Lengthen The Spine & Release The Lower Back With This Desk Stretch | Wellness Wednesday Desk Stretch


It’s that time again for a quick
office stretch with The FruitGuys. So join us for an efficient stretch that’s
gonna lengthen the spine and release your lower back. So to begin, let’s all stand
up and out of our chairs. Take the chair and spin it around so that the
back of the chair faces the table, and then come to the side of the chair.
Root through your right foot, swinging your left leg up and onto the chair.
Take a big inhale and exhale. You’re gonna twist toward the left thigh,
using the back of the chair to apply some traction to deepen the twist.
Take a big breath and then exhale, as you continue to twist around over that
back shoulder. One more big inhale and then release. The other side. Walking around,
root through your left foot, swing your right leg up and onto the chair, standing up
nice and tall, take a big inhale and then exhale. You’re gonna rotate toward the right thigh,
again using the back of the chair as some traction, lifting up through your heart
and then exhale to deepen the twist. One more big breath, and then unravel
on your exhale. Swing that leg down, and your chair around, for the rest
