Open Up Your Chest With This Desk Stretch – Wellness Wednesday Desk Stretch


Welcome back for another quick desk
stretch for your busy work day. It’ll open your chest and boost your mood.
So to begin, sit up nice and tall, reach your left arm, extend it out onto the table.
With a nice long spine, take an inhale, and then on your exhale, you’re gonna
peel your chair toward the right, opening up through that left shoulder.
Take an inhale as you stack up the spine, and then exhale, deepen the rotation,
moving away from that left shoulder, really opening out through the chest.
One more big breath, and then exhale as you unravel back through center. Good. Other side.
Reach your right arm, extend it out and away on the desk, sit up nice and tall,
and then exhale. Begin to rotate, swiveling your chair toward the left,
opening up through that right shoulder. Take a big inhale, stack up the spine,
nice long neck, and then exhale as you continue to wrap the ribs around toward
the left, intensifying that stretch. One more big breath and then slowly
unravel back through center, feeling those shoulders nice and open
