Pilates Forms : Pilates Knee Drop Stretch Form

A really good stretch to do after any oblique
work is what I call, like to call the knee drop stretch and in order to do this what
you do is you take your feet and bring them mat distance apart. If you’re long legged
you want to bring them even farther apart. The toes are going to be facing away from
the mat or in Charlie Chapman pose. And what you do is you take a nice inhale and exhale,
drop one knee to the mat, bring it down as much as you possibly can, feeling the stretch
all along that side. Its okay if the hip comes off the mat, that’s not the point, inhale
that knee up and exhale, the other knee comes down. Again, feeling that stretch. As you
inhale, you can even increase the stretch on this side. Inhale that knee up and exhale,
the other one comes down, trying to bring it down just a little bit farther if you can.
Inhale up and exhale down.
