Plantar Fascia Stretch This stretch should be performed daily, and
can be performed before getting up out of a seated position or out of bed. This will
help to reduce symptoms of sharp pain in the heel when first rising. Crossing the symptomatic leg over the opposite
leg, pulling the toes back, and massaging the under-surface of the foot with the knuckles
of your opposite hand, in a downward motion towards the heel. This stretch can be performed for about 30
