Salford massage therapist shares Quick Stretch tips for lower back pain

okay don’t go anywhere because right now
we’re just going to go into the tip of the week come on follow me okay so this
is the tip of the week we’re going to stretch the lats okay so we’re just
going to put our hand find a doorframe and we’ll keep both feet level and we’re
just going to gently pull back okay keep the head looking up trying straight in
the back if you want to get a bigger stretch on that what we’re going to do
is bring the arm a little bit higher and then put the same side of the leg all
the way back keep the chin up and just hold it you should feel that attachment
really stretch out that really feels good okay lat stretch number two don’t
going away all you need for this one this is stretch number two we’re still
working with the lat by the way get yourself a little towel something
comfortable to protect knees so you’re going to find a chair sure you’ve got
one in your house and place your knees together you’re just going to gently
lean over and then get your elbow from then keep your hands together and
then just slowly lean back so you could really feel that stretch but this time
we’re doing both sides both lats both lat muscles okay and the link forward
and then just keep if you want to keep edging those elbows forward a little bit
put your palms against the back of the chair if you want to get such a bigger
stretch bring the knees back a little bit further as well and this steeper you
can go so it’s a bigger range of movement and you just hold it really
feel it don’t rush into it don’t just start doing it really really fast
because that’s when you will really really do some damage so really take
your time and just ease gently into it nice and slow prevention is better than
cure thank you
