TOP Lat Exercises for Wider Back | Female Muscle

stay tuned. (Intro) What’s going on everyone? My name is Leah Atz welcome back to my
channel where you get no frill fitness from a no frill female. Firstly I’d like

fitness from a no frill female. Now let’s get to the video. The lat pulldown is a
classic exercise to work the lats. When I do this exercise I think of bringing my
elbows down to my sides to get a better mind muscle connection. You’ll notice I
don’t allow my body to lean back. If you need to lean back significantly then
you’re gonna have to lower the weight. I immediately hop off because this is a
superset and grab a dumbbell and perform a dumbbell row. I let my arm extend all
the way down and then I pull the dumbbell up to my hip. Don’t pull it up
to your armpit you will be actually engaging more biceps. This next one is a
drop set a mechanical drop set using a pronated grip first because it is the
weaker grip for this particular exercise. I bring the bar up to my stomach,
not the chest. I then switch to a stronger palms up grip and perform the supinated row and let the bar travel the path of my thighs bringing the bar to my
stomach again this grip will put more work on the lower lats. This exercise I
first show you the correct way to perform this so keep your body squared to the
pulley allow your arm to straighten as you get a stretch in the lats and then
pull the handle down bringing the elbow back behind the torso each rep I’m
thinking of elbowing the wall behind me Bam Bam This last part is what not to do. You see
I end up twisting my body mostly instead of keeping our body squared with the
cable. Last is the lat pulldown but with a V handle. The neutral grip will target
the middle back but still getting your lats working. I lean back slightly when I
bring the bar down but not enough for my body to actually be moving the weight
back. So there you have it everyone a lat
